Nathan Wang began his classical music studies at the age of three on the piano, with much encouragement from his mother.  From there, he commenced uncannily early education at USC, and graduated by age thirteen.  A few years later, he began studying overseas at Oxford University, England.  While studying composition and performing in bars as a jazz pianist, Wang was discovered by a producer for a TV show called “China Beach.”  From there, his career soared to heights at which any composer for visual media could hope to someday reach.  Wang is now one of the most successful composers in Hollywood and Asian cinema, having scored music for Jackie Chan films, Steven Spielberg documentaries, and animated cartoons.
