Sujin Nam was born in Seoul, South Korea, where her musical career began with intense classical training on the piano, starting at the age of four.  She continued studies with music in New York at The Mannes College of Music, and subsequently at the University of North Texas.  From her diverse musical academic background, she took her knowledge then to the University of Southern California, where she studied film scoring.  From here, her career began to soar.  After studying with legendary composers like Elmer Bernstein and Leonard Rosenman, Nam began to work as a score coordinator and/or orchestrator for a number of Hollywood productions (Spiderman 2, Spiderman 3, Entrapment, etc.).  As a composer, she is constantly trying, and succeeding, to find scoring jobs for television and film, attempting to make her mark in the realm of film music like the legends who inspired her.
