Although his body of work is not as expansive as others on the list, South Korean composer Jo Yeong-wook is well known when it comes to his collaborations with director Park Chan-wook.  His work is usually haunting and darkly sentimental, as he tends to work on projects in the horror/thriller area of the film world.  Aside from being a composer, Jo Yeong-wook is also a successful film music supervisor.
